Privacy Policy

1. Data processed locally

When you run DeployReady, it reads and analyzes your project files on your own device. This analysis — including AST parsing, static checks, and dynamic localhost testing — happens entirely locally. We do not receive, store, or have access to your source code.

2. Data sent to AI providers (optional)

If you enable AI features with a cloud provider such as Anthropic's Claude, DeployReady sends only structured, redacted findings to that provider in order to generate explanations and fix suggestions. Specifically:

• Sent: structured findings (severity, type, file path, line number) and project metadata
• Redacted: secret and credential values are removed before sending
• Never sent: your raw source code and environment variable values

Data sent to a third-party AI provider is subject to that provider's own privacy policy. If you use a local model via Ollama, no data leaves your machine.

3. Configuration and credentials

API keys and configuration you provide are stored locally on your device (for example, at ~/.deployready/config.json) with restricted file permissions. They are not transmitted to Belsoft.

4. Website data

This documentation website may collect standard, privacy-respecting analytics (such as aggregate page views) to help us improve the docs. Any contact or feedback you submit through forms on this site is used only to respond to you and improve the product.

5. Data retention

Reports and backups DeployReady generates are stored locally in your project directory. You control them and can delete them at any time.

6. Children's privacy

DeployReady is a developer tool not intended for use by children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
